Our Pain Management Clinic is an 8-week program where instructors focus on helping people whose pain can’t be cured to learn which aspects of their pain and life they can control. The program uses a cognitive behavioral model that teaches coping skills to manage pain with an emphasis on improving function and reducing unnecessary health care utilization. This includes mindful movement practices to increase function as well as group therapy, education and practical tools and techniques to decrease the severity of pain.

Depending on your provider we can bill insurance for the clinic and you would be responsible for the co-pays associated.

Participants from our first pain management clinic.

Bud Perschek, MA, LPC is our main instructor. He obtained his master’s degree in clinical psychology from Illinois State University. With more than 35 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor, Bud has worked in a variety of roles including, clinical psychologist, program manager, clinical director and pain management. Bud came out of retirement to work with others in helping to develop this program. His enthusiasm is fueled by the many successes he has seen.
