The Art of Pain Management

For many people, living with pain is a way of life.

Attempting to live a full and active life may seem impossible after a time living with this pain.

But it IS actually possible to increase your level of functioning and quality of life while reducing your sense of suffering!

The key, like anything in life, is to have the right skills, support, and direction. We are here to a source of those skills, support, and direction.

What Can Our Clinic Do For You?

This clinic is designed to give you control in your life. When we have constant pain, it can make us feel powerless in our daily lives. You don’t need to feel that way and even if you don’t, this is perfect to feel more control and to have supported each day.

Our clinic meets each week on Wednesday. We have instructors who are there to teach new ways to combat chronic pain through a range of therapeutic exercises.

Our Pain Management Clinic is a program where instructors focus on helping people whose pain can’t be cured to learn which aspects of their pain and life they can control. The program uses a cognitive behavioral model that teaches coping skills to manage pain with an emphasis on improving function and reducing unnecessary health care utilization. This includes mindful movement practices to increase function as well as group therapy, education and practical tools and techniques to decrease the severity of pain.

Depending on your provider we can bill insurance for the clinic and you would be responsible for the co-pays associated. (The co-pay is $10 for each class.)
